TEHRAN, July 20 (ISNA)-Iran’s foreign minister regarding the 7th
shared economic commission between Iran and Armenia said the two
sides’ relations had been satisfying in the recent years and that
considerable results had been achieved.

Manouchehr Mottaki added "New horizons have been created for expanding
the mutual ties in every field between Tehran and Yerevan."

Also the Armenian foreign minister, Vartan Oskanian on his part,
called the 7th commission gathering "A leap forward in relations
between the two sides."

Mottaki also met the Armenian minister of energy, Armen Movasisyan.

In this meeting, Movasisyan expressed satisfaction over the boosting
relations of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Armenia.

"The expansion felt is due to the friendly ties and relations between
the two nations and governments."

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
