NKR PARLIAMENT SPEAKER RECEIVED MEMBERS OF INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH GROUP HEADED BY CHIEF OF MILITARY ACADEMY OF DANISH KINGDOM

Yesterday, chairman of NKR Parliament Ashot Gulyan received members
of the International Research Group, headed by Chief of the Military
Academy of the Danish Kingdom, Major-General Karsten Moller, who
arrived in Stepanakert within the frames of the project "Conflicts
and Peacemaking Activity in South Caucasus".

As NKR parliamentary press-service told ArmInfo, having noted that
his visit is of a fact-finding nature, the Group leader said that the
Institute of Europe of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Center of
Military-Strategic Researches of RF AF General Headquarters jointly
with the Danish Kingdom Academy implements a research programme, as a
result of which it envisages to issue a monograph "The Conflicts and
Peacemaking Activity in Eurasia" in Russian and English languages. One
of the sections of this monograph is dedicated to the Karabakh conflict
and prospects of its peaceful settlement.

The Danish General said that opinions of the well-known political
figures of NKR, representatives of the legislative and executive
power of NKR, as well as the international experts will be taken
into account. Welcoming the guests, A. Gulyan expressed hope that
this and the following meetings will allow to draw up a full and
objective notion about the problem essence.
