ISSUES OF THE MISSING PERSONS IN THE CENTRE OF ICRC ATTENTION

RA Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan received Ives Arnold, the head of
the International Committee of the Red Cross delegation to Armenia.

Mr. Arnold expressed gratitude to Serge Sargsyan for the productive
and interested cooperation with the Committee. He said the issue
of the missing persons remains in the centre of attention of the
International Committee of the Red Cross. According to Ives Arnold,
the Committee will continue assisting the authorities of Armenia and
Nagorno Karabakh in disclosing the fate of the missing and informing
their families.

Mr. Arnolds presented to the Prime Minister the recent work in the
direction of finding the missing, noting that in the future the
Committee intends to organize an exhibition of photos of the missing
persons in the region and to start it from Armenia. According to him,
this step will once again evidence that the issue of the missing
has not been forgotten and will draw the attention of the society to
the issue.

The Prime Minister assured that keeping the attention of the issues of
the missing in the center of attention, the government is interested
in upholding the cooperation with the international Committee.
