/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Azerbaijan will not actively participate in the war
against Iran, but we should nod ignore the fact that Baku, as always,
will raise the problem of Iranian Azerbaijan (ancient Atrpatakan),
again and again underlining the same false and funny thesis that
their brothers live there, specialist in Persian philology Tadevos
Charchyan told in the interview to the PanARMENIAN.Net. He said,
it’s not a secret for anyone that residents of Iranian Azerbaijan
are Azeris, in other words, Turkish speaking Iranians.

"I thin, Baku will not take any actions, it will remain neutral,
since from the one hand Azerbaijan will not want to harm not so good
relations with Islamic Iran, and from thee other hand, it will not
dare offend the United States," he stressed.

In the context of Turkey Charchyan noticed that anyway it has
pro-American moods. "Though it is very difficult to predict. Let us
see how the events will develop," he underscored.

ARMENIA’S ISOLATION DEEPENS, SAYS "ECONOMIST" MAGAZINE

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenia’s isolation will deepen more and more because
Armenia does not participate in the Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki-Kars
railway project, says the report of "Economist" analytical center
February edition. "Armenia just another time occurs out of profitable
regional projects. With the beginning of railway’s functioning
Azerbaijan can transport more than 500 million tons of freight to
Turkey annually.

Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey already now closely cooperate in
transportation of Caspian energy resources to Turkey.

Armenia tried to hinder the railway project. There is a strong
Armenian community in the U.S.A., which could achieve a decision by
the Congress, which bans American banks and government to finance the
Baku-Kars railway construction. The magazine says that despite the
fact that Armenian side offered to reconstruct the existing Kars-Gyumri
railway and open Armenian-Turkish border with favorable customs regime,
construction of Baku-Kars railway continues.

Experts of "Economist" think that the closed borders and absence of
energy resources makes Armenia dependent on Russia very much. And the
later does not pay attention to interests of Armenia, which arouses
anger among pro-Western political figures.

"Nevertheless, the greater part of Armenian population continues
to accept Russians as security guarantee in the context of threats
proceeding from Azerbaijan and Turkey. But it is not quite clear, if
Russian will rally interfere, if say, Azerbaijan will launch military
actions in Nagorno Karabakh," the magazine writes, RFE/RL reports.

TURKEY IS AN ASIAN STATE AND CANNOT BE MEMBER OF EU

On a press conference February 28, 2007 Internal Affairs Minister
of France Nicolas Sarkozy, who is considered the rival of Jacques
Chirac on the coming presidential elections, declared that Turkey is
an Asian state anc cannot become a member of the EU.

CNN-Turk informs that Sarkozy, speaking of Paris-Washington
relationships stated that the French approach to Turkey’s EU membership
question is quite different of that of the United States. "President
Buch tries hard to involve Turkey, which is already a NATO member,
also in the European Union. He always stresses the importance of
turkey’s membership. My own point of view is different. Turkey as an
Asian state cannot become an EU member. The EU must have its distinct
borders. The existence of this institution without borders can hardly
be imagined, " said the French Minister.

Yesterday, was hacked the website of the Public Television of
Azerbaijan, report azerbaijani mass media. The hackers leaved a
message on the website which told that this action was an aswer
to azeri hackers attacking armenian internet resources. "We don’t
wish to start a new war, as we are caucasians and must live in
peace. Caucasus is our common historical land… The events of
Karabakh are in the past. The war is the business of politicians,
and we computer programmers should respect each other," says the
message. It ends with words of respect to the azeri hackers who
"proved that they are the best", and is signed "Yerevan, Armenia".

"Day.az" of course suspects the Armenians, but also admits that this
is a provocation action by azerbaijani hackers.

GENOCIDE ARMENIEN.

a Lausanne.

militants appartenant a l’extreme droite turque nationaliste. " Extreme
droite?
