THE NEW VOLUMES OF THE ARMENIAN ANCIENT LITERATURE SERIES
TO BE PUBLISHED IN ANTELIAS

The Catholicosate of Cilicia and the Department of Armenian Affairs of the
Gulbenkian Foundation joined efforts some time ago in publishing, for the
first time, a series of volumes dedicated to the new and ancient Armenian
literatures. This highly scientific work is under the direct supervision of
His Holiness Aram I and the Director of the Department of Armenian Affairs
of the Gulbenkian Foundation, Dr. Zaven Yegavian.

The first five volumes of this series were published during the last two
years. The 6th, 7th and 8th volumes are in the process of publication
presently.

The 6th volume, which is 1090 pages long, includes the works of Soghomon
Makenatsi, Krikoris Arsharouni, Sdepanos Sunetsi, Sahagtoukhd Sunetsi,
Hovhannes Korebisgobos, Khosrovig Tarkmanitch, Ghevont Yerets, Ardavazt
Vanahayr Yerashkhavor, Ishkhanian Hamazasb, Sahag Ardzrouni, Yeznig
Goghpatsi, Movses Khorenatsi, Yeghishe, Tavit Anhaght and Yeznig Yerets. The
7th volume, which is 920 pages long, consists of the works of Hovhan
Otsnetsi and Movses Kertogh. The 8th volume, 670 pages long, includes all
the hymns of the Armenian Church.

These volumes will be published within the next two months by the Publishing
House of the Catholicosate of Cilicia.

The Armenian Catholicosate of Cilicia is one of the two Catholicosates of
