Armenian 5th peacekeeping mission to depart for Iraq today

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The fifth group of Armenian peacekeepers with 46
personnel will depart for Iraq January 27. Today a solemn ceremony
took place in Yerevan on this occasion. The Deputy Defense Minister of
Armenia Arthur Aghabekyan stated that some changes have been carried
out in the group of peacekeeping mission, particularly the number of
doctors has been increased. In his words, also changes will be
conducted in the staff personnel of the mission. Officers have
experience in the central headquarters.

`In this regard, we are going to use their experience in order to
participate in international peacekeeping missions with another
composition, now already in headquarters unit,’ stressed the Deputy
Defense Minister. The 4th Armenian peacekeeping mission has 46
servicemen, including staff officers, 5 military doctors, a group of
combat engineers and a transportation platoon. IA Regnum reports.
