PLANNING CONFERENCE ON RESCUER-2006 EXERCISE TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ The final planning conference on the Rescuer-2006
exercise will be held in Yerevan April 19-21, RA Defense Minister’s
Spokesman, Col. Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net. 250
participants from 12 countries will take part in the exercises.
Rescuer 2006 exercises are of command and staff nature and are aimed
at organizing and comparing the work of the military and medical
department of the Armenian MOD with the Rescue Service of Armenia,
as well as expansion of cooperation opportunities with NATO partner
states.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
