EBRD to Take Half of Expenses for Advising Armenia’s SMEs

EBRD TO TAKE HALF OF EXPENSES FOR ADVISING ARMENIA’S SMALL AND
MEDIUM-SIZED COMPANIES
YEREVAN, APRIL 13. ARMINFO. EBRD will take 50% of the expenses of to
advise Armenia’s small and medium-sized companies under the BAS
Programme, reports the EBRD Yerevan Office.
The program has been implemented in Armenia since 2003 to encourage
efficiency and competitiveness in the country. The beneficiary
companies in Yerevan will enjoy 50% compensation of their advising
expenses due to EBRD 9,000 EUR grant, in the regions 70%. Advising
will be given in automatized control system introduction, IT, business
plan development, marketing research, business partners quest by
companies chosen by the beneficiaries themselves.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
