Pashinyan Vows to ‘Kill’ His Rivals During Confrontation With Yet Another Wom

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is seen angrily confronting a women during a campaign rally in Yerevan on May 18

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan vowed to “kill” his political rivals during a confrontation with yet another woman who deigned to voice her views on Artsakh during a campaign rally in Yerevan on Monday.

The incident, captured on video and widely circulated on social media, comes a weeks after the now-infamous outburst by Pashinyan against an Artsakh Armenian and her child on the Yerevan Metro.

Pashinyan used a version of the word “kill” that is commonly associated with the death of an animal. His threat to wipe out his rivals stemmed unhinged shouting match by the prime minister when a disgruntled woman approached him and accused him of having “stolen my fatherland, presumably referring to Artsakh.

The woman, who was later identified as Arpine Soghoyan, continued by saying, “You have wiped out a whole young generation. “You have stolen my brother, my joy. You’ve tried to bring us to our knees. But we haven’t gotten on our knees.”

“If you are Rob, I’m going to bring Rob to his knees, Rob is going to go to prison, I’m going to kill Rob,” Pashinyan shouted back, referring to former president Robert Kocharian. “I’m also going to bring the Kaluga man (Samvel Karapetian) to his knees and take him out. Serzh [Sarkisian] and Gago [Gagik Tsarukyan] as well.”

Pashinyan also rejected Soghoyan’s claim that he has “ruined the country.”

“You have ruined, plundered it with Karabakh,” Pashinyan shouted back in what appeared to be another attack on Artsakh Armenians.

Soghoyan’s daughter, Tatevik, who is an attorney, told Azatutyun.am that her mother, who is a gynecologist and an obstetrician was asked to resign her post after the public argument on Monday.

Dr. Soghoyan, who is the sister of Hrant Papikyan, who has been missing since the 2020 Artsakh War, currently holds two positions, one at the Polytechnic Clinic and the other at a private hospital. Tatevik Soghoyan did not specify which establishment had asked her mother to resign.

Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan earlier had rejected that any individual should be removed from their position due to their political views.

Pashinyan continued his rant against Dr. Soghoyan by blaming his election challengers for a newly released video in which masked men speaking in an apparent Artsakh Armenian dialect are for his violent overthrow. He described the unknown men as “fugitives” from Artsakh and said he will “take them out” too, Azatutyun.am reported.

It is unclear where from where the video emanated, but it was aired by several media outlets and was shared by many of Pashinyan’s Civil Contract members when the prime minister posted it following his shouting match with Dr. Soghoyan.

The two-minute video shows five men wearing masks and brandishing weapon while accusing Pashinyan of “selling out” Artsakh. The men vowed that the prime minister “will answer for” that.

“So they have masks on, as if they are tough guys. Where were these scumbags during the war?” Pashinyan said in a video on social media.

“Do you know why they are wearing masks? Because as soon as they take off their masks, we will see that these are the ones who have filled their pockets, fled, left our soldiers alone, and I do not rule out shooting them in the back,” Pashinyan accused.

Armenia’s Investigative Committee said it has launched a criminal probe in connection with the video. In a statement the Investigative Committee said the probe was “over allegations involving preparation for murder by a group of individuals, computer sabotage, and the illegal circulation of firearms and ammunition. A pre-trial investigation is underway to identify those responsible.”

Opposition activists were quick to accuse Pashinyan and his campaign team of releasing the video in order to create chaos ahead of the elections.

According to Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a lawmaker from the Armenia bloc, the video “has the government’s fingerprints on it, where Pashinyan stages it and then turns into a tool to threaten people.”

“That is, when he is in trouble, he concocts a staged attack of terrorism, an assassination attempt against him, with the aim of sowing seeds among the people early and thereby justifying his illegal steps against the opposition, violence and arrests, and the overthrow of the country’s constitutional order in general,” Saghatelyan added.

Saghatelyan urged Pashinyan not to create such scenarios, because, he said the opposition has no intention of killing or harming him. Instead, he insisted that Pashinyan should stand trial.

“Our people need you alive and well. We will do everything to ensure your safety, because our people need you alive. For what? So that you can testify in court why and how you surrendered Artsakh, why you caused the death of around 5,000 people, who are your accomplices, why you did this betrayal and all this to the state of our people?” Saghatelyan added.

Similar statements were made by other opposition candidates including Narek Karapetyan of “Strong Armenia” bloc and former human rights defender Arman Tatoyan of “Wings of Unity” party.

Asbarez: Glendale’s St. Mary’s Church Celebrates 50th Anniversary

A gala marking the 50th anniversary of St. Mary’s Church in Glendale was held on Sunday, May 3, at the Glendale Hilton Hotel, under the auspices of Western Prelate Archbishop Kegham Khacherian.

The gala was sponsored by Ara Ter Minassian and Marlene Ter Minassian, the son and daughter of the church’s founding benefactor family. The event was organized by the 50th Anniversary Committee chaired by community activist and benefactor Garo Eshgian.

Ara and Marlene Ter Minassian with Prelate Khacherian and Church and Prelacy officials

Among those in attendance were former Western Prelates Archbishops Moushegh Mardirossian and Torkom Donoyan; the Chairman of the Prelacy Executive Council Vahe Hovaguimian and his wife Hasmig; members of the Executive Council and their spouses; the Dean of St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church Very Rev. Fr. Zareh Sarkissian; members of the clergy; members of the Board of Trustees and affiliated church bodies; delegates to the Prelacy’s National Representative Assembly; Glendale Mayor Ardashess Kassakhian; past and current city officials; Armenian community leaders; benefactors and supporters of the Western Prelacy; regional leaders, deacons, scribes, choir members; and more than 400 guests.

Following the blessing of the tables, Mistress of Ceremonies Christa Kurkjian delivered the evening’s opening remarks, following which Berj Karazian performed the national anthems of the United States and Armenia.

Very Reverend Zareh Sarkissian, St. Mary’s parish priest, then delivered the opening remarks for the church’s 50th anniversary celebration, welcoming the attendees.

“Today, we are gathered here not only to celebrate a fiftieth jubilee, but also to experience in our lives the living presence of God’s indescribable grace.” Very Rev. Sarkissian noted that the church’s five decades of service represent far more than a number, embodying instead the story of generations marked by sacrifice, faith, loyalty, tears, and joy.

Speaking on the meaning and mission of the Armenian Church, Sarkissian emphasized its spiritual role and national identity as a “teacher of mind and soul.” He added that St. Mary’s Church serves as the crown and refuge of Armenian Christian identity and as the guardian of the sacred faith and traditions of our forefathers, stressing that it “is not confined within time, but having come from eternity, it moves toward eternity.”

Guests then viewed a documentary prepared by Seta Krikorian presenting the church’s fifty-year history. A second video message followed, during which attendees received the congratulatory remarks, blessings, and well wishes of His Holiness Aram I, Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia.

The next part of the program featured remarks by Glendale Mayor Kassakhian, who congratulated the spiritual center of the heavily Armenian-populated city of Glendale on its golden jubilee. Reflecting on the importance of prayer not only in personal and family life, but also in overcoming national crises and global turmoil, he expressed hope that St. Mary’s Church would continue to serve as a leading force for Armenian unity, empowerment, and spiritual and cultural mission.

Western Prelate Archbishop Kegham Kacherian

During the gala, Archbishop Khacherian and Chairman of the St. Mary’s Board of Trustees Garo Kurkjian honored seven deacons who had faithfully served at the Holy Altar of St. Mary’s Armenian Apostolic Church for more than twenty-five years. Each deacon was presented with a commemorative crystal plaque by Archbishop Khacherian. The honorees were Jacques Naldjian, Hrair Tedjirian, Kevork Dolmadjian, Raffi Naldjian, Raffi Keshishian, Setrag Karadolian, and Raffi Kurkjian.

The program then continued with a candle-lighting ceremony, followed by an address by Honorable Judge Zaven Sinanian, who reflected on his personal and family connection to St. Mary’s Church.

Sinanian described the spiritual center as a bridge between America and Armenia and as a unifying force that connects our present lives and national identity by transforming them into an active and engaged collective community.

Referring to modern Armenian history, he stated that the scars of the Armenian Genocide carried out by the Ottoman Empire remain deeply rooted within Armenians today, as descendants of a people deprived of their homeland.

Addressing the current circumstances surrounding Artsakh, Sinanian emphasized that despite the immense tragedies inflicted upon the Armenian people, Armenians continue to preserve with dignity the traditions of their ancestors and the aspiration to keep the Armenian Church strong, flourishing, and enduring for future generations.

“Who, in the next 50 years, will take our places and honor us just as we today honor the founding generations of this church,” stated Sinanian. He concluded his remarks with a pan-Armenian message, expressing that with God’s help, the words “Armenia, faith, and remembrance” must remain alive within the life of the Armenian people for generations to come.

The congratulatory remarks of Archbishop Khacherian focused both on the anniversary gala and the previously held “Golden Jubilee Concert” in April honoring the church’s 50th anniversary.

The Prelate noted that it was no coincidence that St. Mary’s Church had consistently experienced growth and success throughout its fifty-year journey.

On this occasion, he quoted the words of benefactor Ara Ter Minassian: “What greater satisfaction can a person experience in life than the great joy of building a church?” The Prelate described these words as a symbol of enduring success and connected them to the centuries-old Armenian tradition in which benefactors throughout history built churches as national strongholds dedicated to the preservation of faith and identity.

Archbishop Khacherian also recognized the benefactors whose generosity has enabled the faithful sons and daughters of our people, and entire generations, to recognize the Armenian-Christian spirit as an inseparable part of their identity. He further emphasized that, through their benefaction, they continue to contribute not only financially, but also morally, to the spiritual, national, and cultural life that ensures the enduring success of the Armenian community.

Referring to those honored during the gala, Archbishop Khacherian praised the spirit of volunteerism demonstrated by the deacons, all responsible bodies, and volunteers who have worked tirelessly for the flourishing of the church. Reiterating his previous remarks that Los Angeles serves as a “benefactor” community for the Armenian Diaspora, the Prelate especially praised the Armenian community of Glendale and its Prelacy Armenian Schools for their continued accomplishments and successes.

At the conclusion of his remarks, the Prelate warmly acknowledged the Chairman of the Executive Council, Vahe Hovaguimian, along with the members of the Executive Council. He highly praised the dedication and service rendered by all past members of the Executive Council throughout the decades.

He also especially commended all the benefactors of the Western Prelacy and expressed his appreciation to all past and present Boards of Trustees, officers, employees, and devoted volunteers of St. Mary’s Church.

The Prelate further extended special recognition to the members of the 50th Anniversary Committee, particularly the Committee Chairman, Garo Eshgian, for their selfless service and for commemorating the half-century milestone of their beloved church through such distinguished and high-caliber celebrations.

Archbishop Khacherian offered his blessings upon all those gathered in the hall and encouraged everyone to continue serving God and the Armenian nation with the same spirit, devotion, and dedication as they look ahead to the next 50 years.

The gala dedicated to the 50th anniversary of St. Mary’s Church concluded with a moving performance of the hymn “Cilicia” by Berj Karazian, joined in unison by all guests in attendance. The evening also featured musical performances by the “Element” band, which entertained guests with beautiful musical selections throughout the program.

“European values” are obvious or even stamped on the face. Zakharova reference

May 182026

The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, referred to the noisy incident recorded in the Arabkir community today, when Nikol Pashinyan attacked an Armenian woman who did not share his political views. In her Telegram channel, Zakharova quoted the part of the incident that appeared in the Russian press, writing:

“The visit of Macron and Zelensky to Yerevan was not without consequences. “European values” are obvious. Or stamped on his face.”

Let’s remind that today, during the campaign in Arabkir community, Nikol Pashinyan simply attacked his political opponent’s wife, in response to the latter’s political accusations, starting to accuse and threaten.

Later, it turned out that the woman is the sister of the missing officer Hrant Papikyan and the mother of lawyer, human rights defender Tatevik Soghoyan.

Russia proposes that EAEU member states discuss the issue of Armenia and there was

May 182026

While the domestic political life of Armenia lives in the hot pre-election mode, overshadowing many foreign political issues, the unprecedented situation created in Armenian-Russian relations continues to be widely discussed among political circles and society. People doing business in Russia are especially concerned about the issue, who may be targeted by Russia’s economic sanctions and restrictions.

The other day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov referred to Armenia’s European aspirations, declaring that the European Union is pulling Armenia into its orbit, and Yerevan is in danger of losing all its privileges within the EAEU framework. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said during the press conference held on the results of his participation in the BRICS ministerial meeting in New Delhi that Russia has close but not easy relations with Armenia.

“Those relations are close, allied. But at the same time, they are not easy,” Sergey Lavrov said, asserting that the West is trying to subjugate Armenia, like some other CIS members, “to break Armenia’s mutually beneficial economic, trade, and investment ties with its partners in the CIS and EAEU.”

“It is true, I heard that Prime Minister Pashinyan mentioned that he is busy with pre-election affairs and will not be able to go to the meeting of the leaders of the Eurasian Economic Union. It would be sad, of course, because this is a good opportunity to discuss the things that are hanging in the air,” the Russian Foreign Minister added.

Lavrov noted that EAEU member states will be able to discuss the issues related to attempts to bring Armenia into the sphere of influence of the West at the unification summit to be held in May. “Now, I think, will be an optimal opportunity to discuss the problems that arise due to the fact that the European Union insists on bringing Armenia into its sphere of influence, including at the cost of risking the privileges that Armenia has under the Eurasian Economic Union.

The opportunity to honestly and sincerely discuss all these issues will appear at the end of the last week of May, when the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the summit, will take place in Kazakhstan,” Lavrov said. This was followed by the Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk’s reference to the topic, who noted that at some stage the Armenian leadership will have to choose between the European Union and the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), if it makes such a decision.

“There they talk about the desire to get closer to the European Union. We have repeatedly said that membership in EAEU and EU are incompatible. Armenia also understands this very well, its leaders also talk about it, that these things are incompatible. At some stage, they will have to make such a choice, if they decide to make such a choice,” he told “Russia-Islamic World. within the KazanForum” forum.

Earlier, the Russian president spoke about Armenia’s European integration aspirations, saying that Russia will accept any decision of the Armenian people. He also spoke about the possibility of holding a referendum on the issue. This was the second reference of the Russian President to the topic after the meeting with Pashinyan on April 1.

168.amin a conversation with Russian analyst Vladimir Yevseyev said that each country should decide its own foreign policy, which also applies to Armenia. However, according to him, the Russian side, as a partner of the Republic of Armenia in EAEU, wants to understand how Armenia’s European integration agenda will be combined with Eurasian integration, when they have many contradictions.

In addition, according to him, they are not only not compatible, but also there is a complicated geopolitical situation, and Russia, EAEU and the EU are in opposite camps.

“I think that all references from Russia are aimed at him in order to bring clarity to the existing situation. It is clear that Armenia can decide its foreign policy as it wants, but Russia can decide that some issues are not compatible with the Russian foreign policy or EAEU.

However, the EAEU is a multi-member structure, and Russia suggests that the member states discuss this issue and give their opinion on the situation. I think the issues will be discussed in EAEU with the participation of all member states. “This is the first case when an EAEU member state wishes to join the EU, and this should be discussed, all countries should express their opinion,” Yevseyev said.

However, according to him, the issue is clear for Russia. According to him, the Russian Federation does not accept this issue both politically, because it is in confrontation with the EU, and economically, because the EU and EAEU are different economic zones, different regulations apply.

“If RA really begins to approach the EU trade zone with its regulations, then RA-EAEU relations in EAEU will no longer be able to function normally. Therefore, this is a question that should be discussed so that problems do not arise during the work,” Yevseyev said.

Avinyan and his team in the 44-day war. what are they really supposed to talk about, huh?

May 182026

Another incident occurred today during Nikol Pashinyan’s campaign in the Arabkir administrative district. he was caught missing in action during the 44-day war with the sister of lieutenant colonel Hrant Papikyan, an experienced military doctor. During the 44-day war, Papikyan was the head of the military unit’s medical service stationed in the direction of Hadrut.

In the context of this incident, Tigran Avinyan, the mayor of Yerevan, the candidate for deputy of the CP Party, in a conversation with Factor TV, referred to the topic of those who “flew” from Artsakh during the 44-day war of 2020.

“Those who really flew from Karabakh are speaking such loud things today. I was there almost from the first day during the 44-day Karabakh war. I know the actors very well: who was there, what was said, who ran away, and those who ran away now their languages have become kilometers long. he noted.

Avinyan replied to the retort: why are they not being held criminally liable?

“Unfortunately, in these specific cases, I am not sure that people can be held criminally responsible for volunteering to escape. But the fact that they almost certainly had nothing to do with the real struggle, the war, and now they are talking about the war and the victims, having absolutely no right to do so…

I was the deputy prime minister of the country at that time, and I was in Karabakh almost until the last day, my car was shot, it remained under Shushi, my driver was injured, 9 of my protocol officers were wounded on the spot, the head of my office was a participant in the night fighting in Shushi. And in fact, we know the Karabakh war very well, let the places be feared, ignored and fought. They will scold, ignore, bite their tongues, they have nothing to do with Karabakh or the Karabakh war, they have not given a finger. Maybe they did the opposite during the entire fight.”

It should be noted that about a month ago, former RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan addressed Nikol Pashinyan in the National Assembly, saying:

“Mr. Pashinyan says that the generals ran away. The leadership of the National Assembly and the deputies came to the place where there was a need for reservists who had left the field of combat for one reason or another. Meanwhile, the deputies did not hesitate to go, at least for a few hours, to work with the “mob resource” (reservists, – M.P.). Who ran away now? did the generals run away or the parliamentarians who were there? And I know some of them.”

Another issue is that Seyran Ohanyan did not give names. Instead, we recalled a few episodes and names, of course, we did not ignore Tigran Avinyan either, whose role we reflected on in the context of the 44-day war still in 2023.

In another article where we talked about Avinyan’s role in the 44-day war, we did not miss the episode that during the war, On September 30, 2020, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran regarding the approval of the program on the installation of photovoltaic plants implemented by the Hayastan All-Armenian Fund Avinyan is a decision made:

Then already Days before the fall of Shushi, on November 5, 2020, the then president of Artsakh, Araik Harutyunyan, on his Facebook page had reported that is in Shushi, and Tigran Avinyan was also seen in the published photos.

By the way, Tigran Avinyan mentions the head of his office in the context of the war. We are talking about Serzh-Varag Siseryan, who once made accusations against Seyran Ohanyan., that in 2020 on the evening of November 5, Seyran Ohanyan left Shushi without even informing the last group members stationed there.

In other words, government representatives were in Shushi and were involved in the operations there, but today only the former commander of the Armed Forces, General Mikael Arzumanyan, is blamed for not keeping Shushi.

By the way, the representatives of the government also participated in the famous counter strike operation discussion, which perhaps they did not have the right to. Can Tigran Avinyan say why an action plan doomed to failure was approved, or on what basis was the order to take back the fortress city after the fall of Shushi on November 7, and did the presence of random people in command posts and other places not affect the outcome of the war? And maybe those presences were needed for some “files”?

“Three-headed monster. In 2025, Tigran Avinyan, who scares people with T-shirt-pants closed the door

May 182026

Tigran Avinyan, the mayor of Yerevan, a member of the KP board, engaged in an active pre-election campaign, who for several years has not been able to cope with the city’s management, transport reforms, which during this time stood out, for example, with 7 million 650,000 drams by purchasing a plane ticket, and recently he is busy with prints on “t-shirt-pants”, he closed the year 2025 with an income of around 58 million drams.

But about all this in more detail. Tigran Avinyan submitted the 2025 declaration of property, income, expenses and interests to the Corruption Prevention Commission, according to which he actually owns only a private residential house built on a plot of land and has only one 2021 VOLKSWAGEN brand car, which he bought in 2022. Instead, Avinyan’s accounts and income are quite noticeable.

The mayor mentioned the bank account balances, which were 13,711,998 drams at the beginning of the year, and 5,858,209 drams at the end of the year, the monetary equivalent of ADA Cardano, Ethereum, Bitcoin cryptocurrencies, however, he did not make public. The cash funds of the CP official amounted to 24,430,000 drams at the beginning of the year, and 20,887,335 drams at the end of the year.

Tigran Avinyan’s income of 57,671,356 drams for the reporting year was generated from other incomes of 26,523,000 drams received from the Poolin platform, remuneration for work received from the municipal administrative institution “Yerevan Municipality Staff” and/or other payments equal to it, first in the amount of 1,936,152 drams, then also in the amount of 29,212,204 drams.

Azerbaijan has no reason to rush. Shiraz Khachatryan

May 182026

The other day we have touched on The strategic significance of the occupied Kovsak, Zangelan for Azerbaijan, and how it came under the control of Azerbaijan.

On May 10, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited the occupied city of Kovsakan (Zangelan), where he specially emphasized that it is located in the transport corridor, so it will become a transport center for Azerbaijan and the entire region.

“On our initiative, the construction of the bridge on the Iranian border has almost been completed, and now the construction of border-customs infrastructure and buildings is underway. Probably, in a few months they will also be ready for operation, and it will become an international transport corridor. Both railways and roads passing through here will be of great benefit because people will be provided with jobs there. And this will be a huge investment in the economy of Zangelan and, in general, Azerbaijan.

After the opening of the border with Armenia, the “Zangezur Corridor”, Zangelan will actually become the only region of our country that will have a border checkpoint with two neighboring countries. See how important it is. Because it is both the East-West corridor, a road that stretches from Nakhijevan through Turkey to Europe, and the North-South corridor, from Zangelan through Aghbend to Iran and the Persian Gulf, and from here through Nakhijevan and Julfa, back to the Persian Gulf. Thus, Zangelan will become an irreplaceable international center. This is how we see it, and this is exactly how it will be, because until now all our plans have come to life,” he elaborated.

Now in this case, can we say that Aliyev does not attach much importance to another direction at the moment, although Nikol Pashinyan has stated that the restoration of the railway passing through Ijevan is also being discussed. At the same time during the pre-election campaign he emphasized that there are “Azerbaijani villages” in Tavush, which must be surrendered, and we will receive Artsvashen, moreover, this places both in the process of demarcation and demarcation, and alludes to About the strategic deal with Aliyev, which he proposed much earlier.

The question is that if a demarcation is made in any direction, then you will get the property that belongs to you, which is under the control of Azerbaijan, in that direction.

We have talked more than once about the risks that the handing over of “enclave” villages will lead to, that it can destroy not only the internal communications of Tavush marz, but also put under attack the highway going to Bagratashen through Tavush, the Armenian-Georgian border, and the gas pipeline entering Armenia from Georgia, etc.

But since the issue is still relevant, and in practice they will still have to be addressed, 168.am-talked about this topic Shiraz Khachatryan, expert of “Henaket” analytical center Is the second stage of border demarcation in the direction of Tavush in Azerbaijan’s interest at the moment? If so, why? If not, why, when will it be necessary?

to return, does it have a purely political and moral significance, or can it? “Today, the Armenian-Azerbaijani border demarcation process is difficult to consider equal negotiations, it is more reminiscent of a series of unilateral concessions, where Baku gets everything it wants and when it wants. If we consider whether it is currently in Azerbaijan’s interest to start the second stage of border demarcation in the direction of Tavush, then the answer is unequivocal: Baku will take that step only when it serves its main maximalist goals.

According to me, Azerbaijan has no reason to hurry, because time works in its favor, and it can extract the fulfillment of another demand with dosed pressure.

In this context, the readiness of the Armenian side to hand over the villages of Tavush under the name of Ankalv, or Tigranashen in the south, is actually a strategic disaster for several reasons. first, the territories that the current authorities are going to hand over or exchange are of vital and strategic importance for us, because they control our interstate roads to Georgia, Iran, we have talked about this several times, secondly, they are destroying the defense structures formed in those territories.

And instead of the Armenian “occupied” lands in Tavush and Gegharkunik, promoting the topic of Artsvashen is, in fact, an information-political manipulation. Artsvashen is located in the depths of Azerbaijan, and in case of de jure getting it back, de facto settlement and security provision there will be almost impossible. And Azerbaijan refuses to even discuss the issue of withdrawing its troops from the sovereign territory of the RA, including Tavush, Syunik, Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor.

I repeat, until now the process of demarcation and demarcation has been on Baku’s agenda, therefore, even if the process is activated at this moment, there is no basis for optimistic expectations. In other words, the issue of Artsvashen is, of course, not a purely emotional issue, but considering it equivalent in the logic of demarcation with the vital areas of Tavush, Syunik, Vayots Dzor is strategic blindness, political manipulation.”
