Artificial intelligence tools will become more accessible in Armenia after the country’s Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, leading AI company OpenAI and technology firm Firebird signed a memorandum of cooperation that will make OpenAI’s ChatGPT Edu platform available to Armenia’s educational, engineering and research communities.

At the initial stage of the partnership, Firebird and the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport will provide access to artificial intelligence technologies for 50,000 students, teachers and research groups across Armenia.

ChatGPT Edu is a version of ChatGPT designed specifically for educational institutions, enabling schools and universities to use advanced artificial intelligence tools, including Codex-like functionalities, while maintaining high standards of data protection, information security and governance. In the higher education sector, the platform will be available to both lecturers and students, while in general education it will be accessible to all teachers and high school students.

Education, Science, Culture and Sport Minister Zhanna Andreasyan said initiatives aimed at expanding the use of artificial intelligence and developing AI literacy within Armenia’s education system have steadily grown in recent years. She noted that several programmes are already being implemented in cooperation with partner organisations.

In particular, the “Generation AI” and “STEP.ai” educational programmes currently operating in schools are aimed at developing students’ fundamental knowledge of artificial intelligence, creative thinking and technological skills, while also promoting the safe, responsible and effective use of AI tools.

“Like many advanced countries around the world, Armenia sees its future in technological development built upon a strong and modern education system. We welcome this initiative aimed at expanding accessto artificial intelligence tools, which will create new opportunities for our universities, schools, lecturers, students, teachers and pupils.

“Technology has long been transforming education, and adapting to this reality is a necessity of our time. Creating AI-powered learning environments is one of the key directions in the development of Armenia’s education system. I am confident that the introduction ofthe ChatGPT Edu platform will contribute to the training of a new generation of professionals who will not only use technologies, but also participate in shaping their future development,” Andreasyan said.

The minister also noted that during the initial phase of the initiative, covering the 2026-2027 academic year, access to ChatGPT Edu will be financed by Firebird. Following an assessment of the programme’s effectiveness and its impact on educational outcomes, the possibility of state funding will be considered, with the aim of integrating the system into the national education framework as asustainable and scalable component.

Firebird co-founder Alexander Yesayan stressed that the future of technology is not something distant, but is being shaped today in schools, universities and research communities.

“We believe that investment in education is among the most important investments a country can make, especially in the era of artificial intelligence. Armenia possesses exceptional talent, and providing students, lecturers and researchers with access to the world’s most advanced AI tools will help shape a new generation of innovators.

“What makes this initiative special is the cooperation at its core. This is not only about technology; it is about Armenia’s future,”Yesayan said.

OpenAI’s Education for Countries initiative lead, Jayna Devani, who joined the meeting via video link, welcomed participants and said education is one of the most important areas through which artificial intelligence can expand opportunities.

“Through cooperation with the Ministry of Education, Science, Cultureand Sport of the Republic of Armenia and Firebird, we are helping make ChatGPT Edu available to the country’s students, educators and researchers, providing access to advanced AI tools that can be used safely, creatively and effectively.

“Armenia has strong human potential and a growing digital infrastructure, and this initiative can contribute to shaping the next generation of innovators equipped with AI literacy,” Devani said.

The parties stressed that the introduction of ChatGPT Edu is intended to significantly improve the quality of AI education. For educators,it will serve as a supporting digital tool enabling lesson planning, content development and the organisation of teaching through more modern, adaptive and innovative methods. It will also encourage personalised approaches to learning based on students’ abilities and educational needs.

For students and pupils, the platform will create new opportunities for information search, analysis, data application and research. The new platform is expected to help users navigate large volumes of digital information more effectively, develop critical thinking and improve independent learning skills by making the use of AI tools inthe educational process more systematic and purposeful.

At the same time, the parties emphasised that compliance with ethical standards and the responsible use of data will be essential to the initiative’s successful implementation. In this context, special attention will be paid to improving digital literacy, fostering aculture of proper AI use and ensuring digital safety within the educational environment.

Two parades in one day!

Yesterday, in fact, there were two parades: one in the Republic Square, the other in the media field…

Of course, I understand that our media have a problem of keeping an audience, but on the other hand, there is also a problem of not losing the country. Wherever you look, it’s Nicholas propaganda. Which website are you opening, Nicole, Nicole, Nicole…

And then? After all, it is the pre-election period, the last week before the elections. Isn’t it enough to do Nicole’s propaganda?

We can close our eyes and ears, but the reality is all there is

Yesterday, the leader of the barbaric regime in Baku once again called Armenians in occupied Artsakh “enemy”, boasted that he “kicked” us out, noted that the Armenian army was “completely defeated” and that “peace was established on Azerbaijan’s terms”.

We can, while closing our eyes and ears and giving in to baseless illusions, imagine that the enemy has changed and that we have a “bright future” in our relations with him, but the reality is completely different.

In order to save his own reputation, Pashinyan discredited the Armenian “Iskand

I saw discussions in several places, why the “Iskander” high-precision ballistic missile systems were not shown at the military parade.

Iskander operational tactical missile systems, depending on the model, are capable of penetrating air defenses at a distance of up to 500 km.

Breakthrough of anti-aircraft defense is provided by the high flight trajectory of the missile, active and unpredictable maneuvering when approaching the target.

Let me say at once that there was no other unit equivalent to this system or even close to it at the military parade.

I think there were 2 reasons for this. First, in order to save his own skin, the capitulator has discredited the existence of these systems (exploded by 10%, etc.) and his own “I” would no longer allow the presence of such a valuable system in the parade.

Secondly, the acquisition of these systems was one of the most important and groundbreaking achievements of Serzh Sargsyan’s period (2016), which at that stage had deterrent and preventive significance in military and political terms.

Until now, a minimal number of countries have been able to acquire this system, and its purchase was directly related to Serzh Sargsyan’s personal efforts and consistency.

Businesswomen from Armenia and the Diaspora visited the statue of Christ

The flow of people to the top of Hatis does not stop. Business women from Armenia and the Diaspora united today to become a part of this important historical day.

From different countries, in different ways, but united around one idea and one goal, they are here today to emphasize the power of national unity with their presence, support and faith.

The “Hatis” mega project, with the construction of the statue of Christ and the Noah’s Ark complex, will not only become a source of pride for future generations, but will also breathe new life into the region, developing tourism, creating new opportunities and making Armenia more recognizable in the world.

“Azerbaijani peacekeepers” to protect Pashinyan

Azerbaijani political commentator Azad Isazade has repeatedly said that it is important for the Azerbaijani side that Pashinyan remains in power. But now it is already going further, talking about the possibility of physically interfering in the Armenian elections, bringing in “Azerbaijani peacekeepers”, so to speak, to protect Pashinyan. This is a manifestation of “poor” Nikol’s “sovereign” policy, that the opponent can even afford such a thought…

In order for Aliyev’s candidate not to remain in power, and for them to no longer be able to interfere in the internal political life of Armenia, elections should be held on June 7.

Washington’s support may have the opposite effect, authorities

I do not think that Trump’s post will be a serious support for the re-election of the government. Everyone knows the American position towards these authorities, and speaking about it once again, even at the highest level, does not change anything. It is a different matter that it may have the opposite effect in a certain way, not from the point of view of the attitude of Tehran, Moscow and Beijing, but also among the circles that have a negative attitude towards Trump.

Of course, sociological polls will form a clearer picture, but I don’t think it will become a factor that has a significant impact on the already existing results.

After all, there are known cases when Trump can praise, criticize or threaten such leaders as the prince of Saudi Arabia, the leader of North Korea, the presidents of Russia and China (from praise to harsh criticism), the Prime Minister of Canada, etc. within a week. The same applies to his teammates, even the same Elon Musk, dozens of congressmen and senators, former and current team members, etc.

In other words, in the case of Trump, it can take only one day to go from loving to hating and loving again.
P.S. This is one of my favorite examples. First dined with Trudeau, then named governor.
