Pashinyan congratulates Lukashenko on Belarus Independence Day

YEREVAN, JULY 3, ARMENPRESS. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has congratulated President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko on Independence Day.

“Accept my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus,” Pashinyan said in a letter addressed to Lukashenko. “During the years of independence, Belarus achieved significant success in socio-economic, scientific-technical and many other areas. I am sure that the coordinated efforts by Armenia and Belarus for further strengthening and deepening the mutually-beneficial cooperation based on the good traditions of mutual understanding and mutual respect between the friendly peoples fully matches our countries’ interests,” he added, wishing robust health and further success to President Lukashenko, and welfare and prosperity to the friendly people of Belarus.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
