Body of one more fallen soldier found during search operations in Artsakh

Artsakh search and rescue squads on Saturday found the body of another serviceman killed in the 2020 war, the Artsakh State Service of Emergency Situations reported.

The soldier’s remains were retrieved in Varanda (Fizuli) region currently controlled by Azerbaijani forces, the service said, adding initial data suggest the killed is a contract serviceman who participated in the military actions. A forensic examination is planned to establish the identity of the killed. 

To note, since November 13, 1,580  bodies of fallen troops and civilians have been recovered from the former areas of combat operations.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again.
