Garik Karapetyan became was crowned world youth champion in the 96 kg weight category at the World Youth Weightlifting Championships in Tashkent, the Armenian Weightlifting Federation informs.

Earlier today Liana Gyurjyan (81 kg) won the gold at the World Youth Weightlifting Championships.
