Sports: Armenia national football squad new manager returns to Spain

Spaniard Joaquin Caparros, the newly appointed manager of the Armenian national football team, has returned from Yerevan to Spain, Marca reports.

“Armenia is also in a state of emergency, and we have returned home,” Caparros said, in particular. “Now is the time to work from home and analyze. The sport is now in the backburner. We all must fight and overcome this infection. We are all in the same battle.”

According to Spanish media, the 64-year-old football specialist has chronic leukemia. After arriving in Yerevan, he had taken a coronavirus test.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again.
