Armenia and Jordan have discussed the prospects of establishing strong ties between business representatives of the two countries, said the Minister of Industry, Trade, and Supply Tariq Hammouri.

His remarks came at the Armenian-Jordanian business forum on Monday.

According to him, a clear instruction was received from the King of Jordan in this regard. He expressed confidence that the meetings of representatives of the private sector should have a positive impact on trade and economic relations, raising them to the same level as the political relations of Armenia and Jordan.

According to him, Yerevan and Amman can establish cooperation in many areas, including the cooperation in the fields of information technology and tourism.

An Armenian-Jordanian business forum was held in Yerevan Monday, within the framework of which a memorandum of cooperation between the countries was signed.
