Verelq: Pashinyan and Macron discussed some issues of RA-EU and RA-France relations

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.


The President of France referred to the regular conference of the Global Fund for the fight against HIV-AIDS, pneumonia and malaria, which is taking place in Lyon these days.


Prime Minister Pashinyan supported the French President’s initiative to wage a global fight against these diseases that threaten humanity. He expressed his willingness to join the foundation and provide all support for its activities.


The interlocutors also touched upon some issues of Armenia-EU and Armenia-France relations.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
