The positions of the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Artak Davtyan, are quite fragile. “Zhamanak” newspaper writes about this, referring to its sources.


“Advisor to the Prime Minister, Arshak Karapetyan, has been assigned to monitor the part of the investigation, which refers to Artak Davtyan’s relation to the events of March 1, 2008, considering his warm relations with Yuri Khachaturov,” the newspaper writes.


Former President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, former Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan, former CSTO General Secretary Yuri Khachaturov and Armen Gevorgyan are involved in the case of March 1.
