130 startups request tax privileges from government

YEREVAN, AUGUST 5, ARMENPRESS. Around 130 high-tech startups have applied to the Government of Armenia to be granted tax privileges, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said on Facebook.

“The 89 companies which were granted privileges so far will until 2020 open around 800 workplaces with high remuneration – an average of 1000$ a month. Around 20% of the companies were founded by repatriates who have returned to live and work from the USA, Netherlands, Russia, Switzerland, France, Finland, Austria, Georgia and Malta,” he said.
