Armen Sarkissian congratulated Vladimir Zelensky on taking office

The President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian congratulated the newly elected President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on his assumption of office.


“I am convinced that there is a significant potential in the interstate relations between Armenia and Ukraine and I fully hope that with joint efforts it will be possible to raise the Armenian-Ukrainian relations to a new level for the benefit of our countries and peoples,” said President Sargsyan in his congratulatory message.


He wished success to the newly elected President Zelensky, and peace and prosperity to the friendly people of Ukraine.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
