Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II in Moscow called for unity on the anniversary of the April war.

The message specifically states:

“Today we commemorate the Armenians who became heroes in the war unleashed against the world of our homeland, Artsakh, three years ago. We celebrate the patriotism and exploits of our brave warriors. Their selfless act will be a source of inspiration for generations.

Artsakh is our citadel, the impregnability of which will determine our future and good life. It is our patriarchal message that our people both in the Motherland and in the Diaspora communities should be united and united against the challenges of the modern world.

We raise our prayer to God so that wars throughout the world cease to be a way to settle problems between nations and states. 

Our people expect the international community to respect the just rights of our children of Artsakh and for Artsakh to live a free and independent, safe and progressive life.
