Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Canada Levon Martirosyan was recalled from his post.


As reported by the RA President’s press service, the President of the Republic Armen Sarkissian signed the decree on this today.


“Based on the Prime Minister’s recommendation, in accordance with Article 132, Part 1, Clause 2 of the Constitution, Levon Martirosyan should be recalled from the position of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to Canada.


Let’s remind that Levon Martirosyan He held this position since 2017. He is a lawyer by profession. He carried out professional activities in 2003-2007. Then he held the positions of the RA Prime Minister and then the RA President’s assistant. Levon Martirosyan is the brother of famous humorist Garik Martirosyan.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered.
