Ara Babloyan attached importance to the holding of the 52nd plenary session of the CSTO PA in Yerevan

On November 26, RA National Assembly Speaker Ara Babloyan received Asaf Hajiyev, Secretary General of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Parliamentary Assembly. Gagik Minasyan, the head of the RA NA delegation to the PA of the National Academy of Sciences, was present at the meeting.


The National Assembly reports that Ara Babloyan attached importance to the holding of the 52nd Plenary Session of the National Assembly of the National Assembly in Yerevan.


According to the head of the parliament, the organization is a unique platform for multilateral economic cooperation that can contribute to deepening and strengthening of regional ties.


The chairman of the National Assembly assured that the Armenian side has done everything possible to hold the plenary session and effective work is expected.


Asaf Hajiyev, thanking for the reception, expressed his belief that the sessions will be held in an atmosphere of interested discussions and mutual agreement.


The interlocutors discussed procedural issues related to the work of the session, referred to the current situation in the Black Sea region, presented their views on some issues.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
