RPA vice-chairman Aren Ashotyan informs that he is in the investigative department of Yerevan with a case that has been dragging on for several months. At the moment, I am in Yerevan’s investigative department in an absurd case that has been going on for several months, still as a witness. “The last time they were invited for questioning about two months ago. I will tell the details of the case and today in the evening. I will also address the question of what it means to cut off the Republican propaganda officer and one of the main critics of the current regime from the short-term election campaign.

One thing is clear: I am working well,” Ashotyan’s note says.

In October, the SIS processed the allegations related to the circumstances of Ashotyan’s being an employee of the Department of Biochemistry of the Yerevan State Medical University.

This day Armen Ashotyan assessed him as “a futile attempt to threaten and pressure”.

Then the CSI issued a message calling on Ashotyan to refrain from spreading falsehoods about the structure.

“A. We suggest to Ashotyan to publish the facts of the threat addressed to him by the RA Special Investigation Service, including the information of the RA SIS official who threatened him, otherwise we expect a public denial from him and urge him to refrain from spreading falsehoods against the RA Special Investigation Service from now on,” said the SIS message.
