According to the draft law developed by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, until January 1, 2018, persons who have committed an administrative offense under certain articles of administrative offenses will be released from the obligation to pay the amount of the fine (the unpaid part), as well as the enforcement costs incurred in connection with its confiscation. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice.

The need for this initiative is due to the large number of fines imposed in the field of road traffic safety, which, on the one hand, does not contribute to the effective implementation of the policy aimed at preventing offenses by the state, and, on the other hand, the payment of fines, due to the social status of the recipients, in many cases has negative consequences.

Emil Lazarian: “I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
