Yesterday, November 24, a tragic incident took place in one of the military units of Vanadzor. Around 10 o’clock in the morning, a serviceman died suddenly in the N military unit of the Vanadzor Defense Ministry.

As reported by the Armenian mass media, the serviceman’s condition deteriorated sharply, his colleagues immediately took him to the Vanadzor military hospital, but he died on the way.

According to our information, the soldier who died suddenly is 36-year-old Garnik Petrosyan, resident of Shahumyan village, Lori region. He is a former police officer, he worked in the police station of Vanadzor, then he was transferred to a military unit. The soldier who died suddenly had young children in his care.
