Moscow and Yerevan are developing a road map to implement projects within the framework of the joint investment fund, and projects in the IT and energy sectors will also be financed. RA President Serzh Sargsyan said this in a conversation with RIA Novosti.

The project for the creation of the Armenian-Russian investment fund was presented in January 2017. Its activities will be aimed at financing those areas that can increase trade between the two countries, as well as develop industrial cooperation, etc.

“As for the fund, we continue the work. Recently, its representatives were in Armenia. If we talk about areas suitable for investments, then they are IT technologies, energy, high-tech production… At present, the parties are working on developing a road map,” added Serzh Sargsyan.
