On the evening of Friday, September 22, he was attacked in Isfahan
Chairman of the Diocesan Council of Isfahan Armenian Diocese, Varuzh Minasyan (nickname:
Didil).

 

The group of three attackers (with their faces covered) was crushed
Varuzh’s leg, stabbing him and seriously injuring his hands. With deaths and
they hit with metal objects, broke the windows, broke and punctured them
the car. At the time of the attack, the leader of the Diocese of Isfahan, Fr. Rev. Sipan Kechejyan
he was in self-motion, but he was not harmed.

 

The attack took place in front of Varuzh’s house when Temakani was driving
they brought him home. The attackers did not steal any items and
they targeted only Varuzh’s person. 

 

The remarkable point is that Varuzh Minasyan and Hayr Surb were new
returned from Armenia and left Tehran for Spahan. Minasyan and the Leader
changing the date of their return ticket from Yerevan to Tehran, they were early
returned from Armenia citing the reopening of schools in Iran
the necessity of their presence. Therefore, there is the impression that
the organizers of the attack were well aware of their return
about the details and address of Varuzh Minasyan’s house.

 

The attackers fled in a silver “Peugeot” car
applied from the place and Varuzhan was taken to the hospital in serious condition.
The police have started an investigation into the incident.

 

The fact that the faces of the attackers are covered further emphasizes the possibility that the attackers are familiar.

 

It is incomprehensible that days after the incident, the Diocese Council of Isfahan remains silent about this and does not publish any information.
